What is Online Giving?

Online giving is a direct payment program whereby your contribution is debited automatically from your credit card or bank account into the church’s account.

Is online giving secure?

Yes, online giving is secure.

What are the advantages of Online Giving?

Online giving makes it easy to fulfill stewardship commitments, even when you can’t attend church. You never have to bring cash or checks to church. It helps ensure the church can continue to fund the multitude of services and programs it provides to members and the community.

Do I incur a charge for using online giving?

No, there is no cost to you.

How do I sign up for Online Giving?

Complete the online registration form, for any of the giving options that we provide, and select the donations and the amount you would like to donate along with your bank account or credit card information. It's that easy!

How are my contributions automatically deducted from my account?

Once you complete the online registration form, the contribution amount you specify will automatically be transferred from your bank account to the church’s account.

When will my contribution be deducted from my account?

Your one-time electronic contribution will be debited immediately upon completion of the transaction.

Can I still give by check if I prefer?

Yes, you have total freedom to choose how you give.

If I do not write checks, how do I balance my checkbook?

Since your contribution is made at a pre-set time, simply record it in your check register on the appropriate date. Electronic contributions will appear on your bank statement as well as your online banking report.

Without a canceled check, how can I prove I made my contribution?

Your bank statement, online banking report or credit card statement provide an itemized list of electronic transactions and will include your Calvary Baptist Church donation.

What if I change bank accounts?

Simply login and update your account information.

Is Online Giving risky?

Online giving is less risky than writing checks or bringing cash to church. Electronic contributions have an extremely high rate of accuracy.

What if I try Online Giving and don’t like it?

You can cancel your authorization by deleting your accounts or simply choose not to use online giving.
